ECHA Poison Centre site adds new Support Pages for Downstream Users & Importers

Does your company place hazardous mixtures, such as paints and detergents, on the EU market?

Submission deadlines are now coming up, depending on the use types.

The ECHA has revamped its  Poison Centres Site  with new pages to help you comply with your obligations. The site now has new support pages for downstream users and importers, including:

    • Mixture information requirements
    • How to prepare compay data and make submissions, and
    • How to generate Unique Formula Identifiers

Next Steps for Industry

Under the new Annex VIII to the CLP Regulation, importers and downstream users placing hazardous mixtures on the market will have to provide specific information on their mixtures to appointed bodies. The annex also introduces a new harmonised format for notifications. The information will be used by poison centres for emergency health response purposes in case of incidents involving these mixtures.

Make sure to find out about your new obligations and how these could affect your business.
